about us
Ever since we first opened our doors on March 30th (2019), the mission of Center Street Brewing Company has and always will be to provide quality craft beer to the local community in a welcoming atmosphere. We are passionate about our work and strive to create the best craft beer experience for all. Our tap list consists of a variety of beers that can be appreciated by anyone from a beer connoisseur to those new to the craft beer world and everyone in between. Our building is surrounded by plenty of parking and we have a great outdoor space perfect for enjoying a cold beer on a summer day. Our taproom has ample seating, games, and televisions all in a clean, warm environment… perfect for events or parties! If you want to enjoy a meal in our tap room, feel free to bring food or have it delivered while enjoying a pint of Wicked Hoppah or Lucky #19. We hope to see you soon, cheers!
who we are
Peter Ford: Owner / Brewer
Pete has been a craft brewer for over thirty years and his experience and passion truly reflect in his beers. It has been his dream to open a brewery and provide quality craft beer to his local community of Wallingford, CT where he resides. From home brewing beer in his garage, to the American Brewer’s Guild, to brewing on Wallace Avenue, Pete has been able to turn his hobby into a life-style. When you stop by, expect to be greeted with a smile from Pete and if you want to talk beer, he would love to share his wealth of beer knowledge!
Tim Ford: Co-Owner
Brother of Pete, Tim currently resides in Vermont with his family. As a beer lover himself, Tim has been paramount in bringing Pete’s vision to life as co-owner.
John Ford: Brewery Operations
Half of the namesake of our Flagship ale Lucky #19 ESB, John manages everything between making beer and selling it. He enjoys good beer, hockey, and his dog.
Lynn Ford: Manager
Wife of Pete and the inspiration for the name of our popular Brown-Eyed Girl American Brown Ale, Lynn has been vastly important in the creation of CSBC. When she is not pouring beer or managing our Center Street family, she works as a special education teacher and administrator. She’s the best.
Patrick Faria: Beer Professional
Hi, I’m Patrick. I like beer and fly fishing. You can find me hosting trivia once a month. Go Bruins.
Sami Forster: Can Label Queen
Sami, the "Label Queen" of Center Street Brewery, spends her days pouring beers, running and playing various forms of bingo. With a marketing degree from Central Connecticut State University, she’s here to prove that a perfectly poured beer is basically art. Picasso who?
Trina Torre: Tap Room Operations
A beer pouring master, Trina has been an excellent representative of CSB. Trina has an associate degree from Middlesex Community College and is a certified personal trainer.
Russell Edeen: Tap Room Operations
Russell is good at drinking beer but he’s even better at pouring it. He specializes in pouring his favorite beer, Mocha Jo.
Marissa Staiger: Tap Room Operations
Hi, I’m Marissa! My love for craft beer started with weekend visits to Center Street Brewery, and I was so hooked on the atmosphere and brews that I had to join the team. Favorite beer: Wicked Hoppah. I’m a proud WVU grad—let’s go, Mountaineers! I enjoy skiing or getting lost in a good book.
Lydia Donnelly: Tap Room Operations
Lydia is often spotted perched on the dishwasher during her shifts. A UConn graduate, she now co-hosts CSB’s new book club with her friend Sami.
